Golden Seahorse Productions
was formed in 1993 by writer/director/musician Richard J. Frankland
(Gunditjmara Nation) and film producer/manager John Foss.
Since 1993 Golden Seahorse
Productions have produced over sixty films, video's and
documentaries for broadcasters, government, business and the
community including the award winning short films
NO WAY TO FORGET and
HARRY'S WAR.

We are currently developing
the following film, television and documentary projects:
CONVERSATIONS WITH THE DEAD (feature film)
DIGGER (TV series)
CRY OF BORUN (TV documentary)
2009 will see the release of
Richard's debut feature film project CUZ, Australia's first
Indigenous comedy film starring Luke Carroll and Leon Burchill.

Recently we produced
THE CONVINCING GROUND and
SAYING SORRY programs for the Indigenous Programs
Unit of the ABC (Message Stick).
Golden Seahorse Productions
also run a number of training programs on film/video production.
We have produced plays for La
Mama, Chamber Made Opera and the Melbourne International
Festival. We also run Cultural Awareness Workshops for
community, education, government and business.
